How

Hoje vamos aprender a usar a palavra how.

Em geral, traduzimos a palavra how da mesma forma que utilizamos a palavra como em português.

Exemplo:

How are you?	Como você está?
How are you doing today?	Como você está hoje?

How are you? How old are you? How tall are you? How long is the movie? How much money do you need? How many brothers and sisters do you have?

Traduzindo para o português temos:

much	muito	usado com substantivos não contáveis.
many	muitos	usado com substantivos contáveis.
a lot of	muito, muitos	usado com substantivos contáveis e não contáveis.

Exemplos:

I have many friends.
She doesn't have much time.
He has a lot of friends.
They have a lot of time.

Friends é um substantivo contável. Time é um substantivo não contável.

Uma dica útil é que a palavra many vem sempre com substantivos no plural, enquanto o much com substantivos no singular. Friends está no plural, enquanto time está no singular.
