Any / No

Na lição anterior vimos o uso de some. Hoje, vamos ver any e no.

Traduzimos any de três formas diferentes.

Em frases afirmativas, any significa qualquer um.
Em frases negativas, junto com not, nenhum.
Em frases interrogativas, algum ou alguma.

Em frases negativas, podemos substituir not + any por no.

Examples

+ Any person can help you with the project.
- I don't have any friends in the US.
- I have no friends in the US.
? Do you have any friends in the US?
