Grammar

Much, many, a lot of

Hoje vamos aprender a usar as palavras much, many e a lot of.

many muitos usado com substantivos contáveis.

Exemplos:

  • I have many friends.
  • She doesn't have much time.
  • He has a lot of friends.
  • They have a lot of time.

Friends é um substantivo contável. Time é um substantivo não contável.

Uma dica útil é que a palavra "many" vem sempre com substantivos no plural, enquanto o "much" com substantivos no singular. "Friends" está no plural, enquanto time está no singular.
