Adverbs of Manner
Adverbs of manner, ou advérbios de modo, são palavras que explicam como uma ação acontece.
Alguém pode ler um livro de vários modos.
- Por exemplo:
She reads books quickly. (quickly = rapidamente) |
They read books hurriedly. (hurriedly = apressadamente) |
Note que advérbios de modo em português frequentemente terminam em -mente, enquanto em inglês geralmente eles terminam em -ly.
