How
Hoje vamos aprender a usar a palavra how.
1. Utilizamos a palavra how da mesma forma que a palavra como em português.
- How are you?
- I'm good, and you?
- How are you doing today?
- I am doing fine, thanks. How about you?
- How will you travel to India next year?
- I will travel by plane.
- How do you feel about your job?
- I love it. It is very exciting.
2. Podemos, também, colocar a palavra how junto com um adjetivo, em geral, significando "quão".
- How old are you?
- I am 24 years old.
- How tall are you?
- I am 6 feet 2.
- How long is the movie?
- It is 2 hours long.
- How much money do you need?

- How many brothers and sisters do you have?
- I have one sister and two brothers.
3. Algumas expressões utilizam a palavra how.
Quando queremos pedir a opinião de alguém sobre algo que acabamos de fazer, perguntamos:
- How's that?
- It's great. Good job.
De forma informal, podemos usar a seguinte expressão para perguntar por que.
- How come you will not be at the party?
- I have to work tomorrow. I'm sorry.
Usamos a palavra how junto com a preposição about para fazer sugestões.
- How about going to the movies?

- How about a cup of coffee?
- Yes, please. I need to wake up.
