Adverbs of Frequency

Advérbios de frequência são palavras que utilizamos para indicar a frequência que algo acontece.

Eles se separam em dois tipos, frequência definida ou indefinida.

Definida

hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly
every second, once a minute, twice a year
once, twice, once or twice, three times

Indefinida

always, constantly
usually, normally
frequently, regularly
often
sometimes
occasionally
rarely, infrequently
seldom
hardly ever
never

Examples

She sends emails to her clients daily.
- Ela envia emails aos seus clientes diariamente.
We travel to Australia twice a year.
- Nós viajamos para a Austrália duas vezes por ano.
They will stay in my beach house three times this year.
- Eles ficarão na minha casa de praia três vezes este ano.
I always brush my teeth before I go to bed.
- Eu sempre escovo os dentes antes de ir para a cama.
You never call me.
- Você nunca me liga.
He usually works on the weekends.
- Ele geralmente trabalha nos finais de semana.
I sometimes ask for help.
