Grammar
Hoje veremos os seguintes verbos irregulares:
base form | simple past | past participle |
---|---|---|
dream | dreamt / dreamed | dreamt / dreamed |
drink | drank | drunk |
drive | drove | driven |
eat | ate | eaten |
fall | fell | fallen |
Vejamos agora alguns exemplos:
- I dreamt about you last night.
- Sonhei com você na noite passada.
- She drank a lot of water after the game.
- Ela bebeu bastante água após o jogo.
- They drove for 5 hours.
- Eles dirigiram por 5 horas.
- We ate the most delicious cake at her birthday party.
- He fell and broke his leg.
- Ele caiu e quebrou a sua perna.
Note! O verbo dream geralmente vem com a preposição about.
Challenge Na frase "We ate the most delicious cake at her birthday party." escolhemos traduzir the most delicious cake por um bolo super delicioso.
