Adverbs of Frequency

Advérbios de frequência são palavras que utilizamos para indicar a frequência que algo acontece.

Eles se separam em dois tipos, frequência definida ou indefinida.

Definida

  • hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly
  • every second, once a minute, twice a year
  • once, twice, once or twice, three times

Indefinida

  • always, constantly
  • usually, normally
  • frequently, regularly
  • often
  • sometimes
  • occasionally
  • rarely, infrequently
  • seldom
  • hardly ever
  • never

Examples

  • She sends emails to her clients daily.
  • We travel to Australia twice a year.
  • They will stay in my beach house three times this year.
  • I always brush my teeth before I go to bed.
  • You never call me.
  • He usually works on the weekends.
  • I sometimes ask for help.
