Please call Stella.  Ask her to bring these things with her from the store: Six spoons of fresh snow peas, five thick slabs of blue cheese, and maybe a snack for her brother Bob.  We also need a small plastic snake and a big toy frog for the kids.  She can scoop these things into three red bags, and we will go meet her Wednesday at the train station.

Grammar

Hoje veremos os seguintes verbos irregulares:

base form simple past past participle
dream dreamt / dreamed dreamt / dreamed
drink drank drunk
drive drove driven
eat ate eaten
fall fell fallen

Vejamos agora alguns exemplos:

  • I dreamt about you last night.
    • Sonhei com você na noite passada.
  • She drank a lot of water after the game.
    • Ela bebeu bastante água após o jogo.
  • They drove for 5 hours.
    • Eles dirigiram por 5 horas.
  • We ate the most delicious cake at her birthday party.
  • He fell and broke his leg.
    • Ele caiu e quebrou a sua perna.

Note! O verbo dream geralmente vem com a preposição about.

Challenge Na frase "We ate the most delicious cake at her birthday party." escolhemos traduzir the most delicious cake por um bolo super delicioso.
