Warm up

Sentences

  • I like to listen to samba and jazz.
  • I love listening to rock.
  • I absolutely love listening to electronic music.
  • I don't like to listen to rap.
  • I don't usually like funk, but some songs I like.
  • I love American gospel, but I can't stand Brazilian religious music.
  • My favorite band is The Beatles.
  • My favorite performer is Florence.
  • My favorite musical instrument is the banjo.
  • I'm addicted to TV series.
  • I watch a ton of sitcoms.
  • I never watch TV.
  • I'm in love with House of Cards.
  • I don't like soap operas at all.

Guessing Game

Describe a a band or singer you love or hate, but don't say what it is. The other person will have to guess who or what it is and whether you like or hate it or them just using your hints. Don't make it too easy!

Example hints:

  • This singer is very famous.
  • It is a woman.
  • She is American.
  • She sings pop music.
  • She has won an Emmy.
